Doodle Jump introduced a 8-bit arcade-inspired theme.

The Approach
The theme reimagined the game’s characters and environments through a pixel-based lens, incorporating playful references to classic arcade games. Bright color, simplified shapes, and nostalgic detailing brought the retro aesthetic to life while staying true to the spirit of the original game.

My Role
Senior Art Director. I led visual development and overall art direction for the 8-bit theme, working directly with the lead artist and the game’s owners.
